VENUS & CULTURE is an annual event that brings in Milan young promises of high fashion and a jury of influential and interdisciplinary experts from all over the world. With the same approach that distinguishes the creative process of Jamal Taslaq, the participants propose innovative outfits on the WorldcApp platform with at least one element linked to the culture they intend to represent. The best proposals, pre-selected by the great Italian-Palestinian fashion designer and voted by the Community of VENUS Gallery, challenge each other in the capital of world fashion.
The award ceremony is extended to the authors of the creative contents published on SHINY Media throughout the year. The magazine tackles topics which embrace technology, art, literature, cinema, music, science, history and much much more besides. The doors are open to everything, as long as the (timeless) stories told and contributions submitted are sufficiently dynamic and brimming with energy to inspire all readers, especially those who are not experts on the subject.
